Ich möchte Ihnen gerne sagen, dass seit dem 7. Oktober kein Tag vergeht, an dem ich nicht an Sie alle denke. Die Berichte aus Gaza gehen mir sehr nah. Das unerträgliche Leid, dem Sie alle ausgesetzt sind, kann ich nicht ändern, aber ich möchte Ihnen versichern, dass ich mir nichts sehnlicher wünsche, als ein Ende der Kampfhandlungen und dass Sie die dringend nötigen Hilfsgüter und die nötige medizinische Hilfe erhalten. Den Mitarbeitenden von Ärzte ohne Grenzen danke ich von ganzem Herzen für Ihr Engagement, für jede Tätigkeit, die Sie ausführen, für jeden Tag, an dem Sie sich weiter einsetzen und ich wünsche Ihnen viel Kraft für die weitere Arbeit! In Gedanken bin ich bei Ihnen.

All I can express is how unbearable it is to see how much the innocent civilians in Gaza have to suffer, left alone by the international community in their daily fight sur surviving. It breaks my heart to see the brutal killing of all these homeless and completely helpless people by non-stop bombing attacks far beyond any proportion and far beyond the principles of humanity. I am endlessly grateful for the heroic everyday help and support of MSF under these unimaginable circumstances. People of Gaza and all their supporters risking their own lifes: we are with you, day for day, we suffer with you and we long so, so much for the moment this nightmare comes to an end. The crimes committed by Hamas on october 7th can’t justify the crimes committed now and since weeks against innocent people in Gaza. Stop this absolutely disproportionate terror and mass-murder of all these thousands and thousands of innocent people. And be aware you will be judged by history. Stay strong, people of Gaza, stay strong all you supporters of MSF and NGOs, the whole world is with you, suffering and crying with you.

Despite all these guns fires and bombings, you are still concerned about providing health care to patients, putting by this way your own life in danger. This is the summit of a commitment. No one can do better than you. "We did what we could. Remember us": I can never forget this sentence and never forget you, dear lovely, and fabulous colleagues. We are all behind you. thank you for your continued effort to support innocent civilians under this appaling conditions. I sincerely thank you for your and hope that a ceasefire will come into place immediately. Let's hope that the political authorities will be able to never again allow terrorist organization like the Hamas to bring so much misery and plight to the Palestinian and Jewish people. Liebe Helfer vor Ort Meine Gedanken sind permanent, bei den Menschen in Gaza, bei den unzähligen unschuldigen und vorallem bei den Kindern, ich schliesse sie in meine Gebete ein. Ich möchte sovieles sagen und doch bin ich sprachlos, sprachlos wie so viele wegschauen - wütend und unendlich traurig. Danke dafür, dass ihr den Menschen vor Ort, welche es am meistem benötigen hilft. Bitte zaubert ihnen in dieser schweren Zeit ein Lächeln ins Gesicht, umarmt die Kinder und sagt den Menschen wir haben sie nicht vergessen wir denken an sie und beten für sie. Danke, dass ihr alles riskiert um zu helfen. Ihr seid so wichtig, gibt bitte nicht auf, ich schliess euch im meine Gebete ein🙏
