Es ist für mich gar nicht vorstellbar, was Sie alles sehen und erfahren müssen - unmenschliches, widerrechtliches, grausames.. Wie kann man täglich wieder Kraft finden, weiterzugehen? Ich weiss es nicht, doch möchte ich einfach ausdrücken, dass mir Ihr Schicksal zutiefst am Herzen liegt! Möge meine Worte vermitteln, dass Sie von vielen Menschen getragen sind, von denen Sie gar nichts wissen.. Und möge diese Nachricht Ihnen irgendwie Kraft geben - Kraft, um weiterzuleben und weiterhin zu helfen. 1972 starb eine Freundin von mir und ihr letzter Wunsch war, dass wir MSF unterstützen sollten. Dies habe ich nun über 50 Jahre getan. Es scheint so wenig zu sein im Vergleich zu Ihrem Einsatz, der vor Ort so viel abverlangt. Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich Sie alle bewundere und Ihr Mitgefühl und Ihr tiefes Commitment unglaublich schätze. Ich werde Sie mein Leben lang unterstützen und danke Ihnen für Ihre Treue - eine Treue dem Mensch gegenüber, der sich in schwierigsten Notsituationen befindet. Einfach von Herzen ein unendliches "danke".

We cannot imagine the pain and suffering that you are experiencing at the moment, it is more than anyone should be able to bear and I pray every day that this fighting will end and you will have time to recover and to heal together in safety. Through all of what we see and hear is happening around you, the thought at the front of my mind each day is how strong, how resilient, how heroic and powerful you are. The resistance and humanity that you show just by continuing to survive, to care for and to protect others, and to fight for yourselves is something that I will never forget. My thoughts are with you always.

"Doctors Without Borders" in the Kyrgyz Republic are extremely concerned about the situation in the Gaza Strip. We are against bloodshed and deaths of innocent people, women, especially children. The Kyrgyz Mission calls for immediate and comprehensive measures to stop the bloodshed and the escalation of violence against civilians and to prevent an imminent humanitarian catastrophe. We strongly condemn violations of international humanitarian law by the parties to the conflict, namely the use of unconventional weapons and indiscriminate airstrikes, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, especially health care facilities where doctors fighting to save lives of injured people. We call on the international community to make every possible effort to put an end to hostilities in the conflict zone, set up humanitarian corridors and provide assistance to the causalities and the bereaved families. Only by joining forces can we stop a new war in the Middle East!
